With reference to the enclosed correspondence, I will
appreciate your trying your best to give some time to the
Miami Athletic Winter baseball Federation at the next
City Commission meeting on rebruary 27, 1975.

In my other letter we forget to mentioned, that our
organism also have others plans that involved your partici-
pation on it. .
We plan on having a second year also of the Semifast
baseball \'rorl series at the Miami Stadium on the dates of
April 10th., 11th., 12th., and 13th., with the participation
on it of five different leagues that play every Sunday in
different parks of Miami.
This type of event was done by us before and was a com-
plete succes in wick over 100 athletes participated in the
best possible order and dictiplinc, with the result of Los
Vie jos Elefantes baseball League winning.
As you know our organists r ABI , , will work again

Derartment of Parks and recreation, we certainly think,
that this type of program is a nice way to reward the efforts
made by this leagues and therefore we also request from the
City Comissioners that the facilities be granted to us with
out charge.

The intent of this letter is to request the use of the
Miami Stadium baseball field to be able to carry out the se-
cond year of competition of the Miami Athletic Winter Base-
ball rederation,(FABIX), that as you know works under the su-
pervition and sponsorship of the City of ;fiami Department of
Parks and Recreation.
Our first year was a complete succes, even if the FANS
have not started to support us as they should, is just a ma-
tter of time for them to begin their regular participation
Of the program,.
Our League will be form again of si:: teams and we will
like to start our regular season September the 7th. and Con-
tinuing to play every day until January 20th. 1976. As you
can see we are planning on a longer program and this year we
may even have support of some profesional organization.
It is the need of our Organization "FABI", to request
again that a no charge be granted from the City Comission.
It still impossible for any type of organism to pay the high
cost of the facilities of the Miami Stadium baseball field,
with cut running into money difficulties. This is why as a
SERIOUS organism, that wants to bring baseball fans of our
comunity a serious spectacle, we should know that once more
will be able to start and finish our league, as we did our
first year.
Once a ain we are sure that our City Representatives
will understand our needs and will help us in every possible
way. Thanking you personally for your great support and in-
terest on programs of this kind,
