RESOLUTION NO. ,75.-220
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH
KUNDE & ASSOCIATES* INC., MADIGAN-PRAEGER, INC.,
FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND CONSTRUCTION
OF CERTAIN STRUCTURAL MODIFICATIONS AT THE
CITY OF MIAMI ORANGE BOWL; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
OF $450,000.00 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND = UNALLOCATED FUNDS AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING OF BIDS FOR THE FIRST
PHASE OF STEP II.
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Kunde & Associates,
Inc., Madigan -Praeger, Inc. (A Joint Venture), for a structural
adequacy study and modifications to the existing Orange Bowl; and
WHEREAS, certain modifications are deemed necessary and
proper prior to the fall exhibition games; and
WHEREAS, the Consultant is in a position to make such
structural designs and contracts can be awarded and the construc-
tion completed before the first scheduled game in August; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of these structural modifi-

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
negotiate and enter into an agreement with KUNDE & ASSOCIATES, INC.,
MADIGAN-PRAEGER, INC., for plans and specifications and construc-
tion of certain structural modifications at the City of Miami
Orange Bowl for the first phase of Step II.
Section 2. The amount of $450,000.00 is hereby allocated
from the account entitled Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated
Funds for the City of Miami Orange Bowl.
Section 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
