A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
JANUARY 17, 1975 OF BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $84,887,00 FOR THE
ORANGE POWL as SPIRAL RAMP DECK REPLACEMENT
PHASE 4 1975; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received January 17, 1975 for the
ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP DECK REPLACEMENT - PHASE 4 - 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC. in the amount of $84,887 is the
lowest responsive bid to the City and recommends that a contract
be awarded to said company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC.
for the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP DECK REPLACEMENT - PHASE 4 -
1975, namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be,
and is hereby, accepted at a total cost of $84,887.00.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to enter into a contract in behalf of
the City of Miami for the ORANGE BOWL - SPIRAL RAMP DECK
REPLACEMENT - PHASE 4 - 1975.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27 day of FEBRUARY
1975.
