IN THE AMOUNT OF $31,820.00 FOR PARKS HARD SURFACE COURTS (HENDERSON PARK); ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $31,820 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS & RE- CREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $3,182.00 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $636.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TEST- ING LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on February 13, 1975 for PARKS - HARD SURFACE COURTS (HENDERSON PARK); and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $31,820.00 bid of BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION, INC. is the lowest responsive bid and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" for the amount of the Contract, for project expense; and for such items as advertising, testing "DOCUMEfgT I 'GEX laboratories and postage; ITEM NO. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The February 13, 1975 bid of BISCAYNE CONSTRUCTION; INC. in the amount of $31,820.00. for the project entitled PARKS - HARD SURFACE COURTS (HENDERSON PARK), namely Base Bid of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein. The amount of $3,182.00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces. Section 4. The amount of $636.00 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and Postage. Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is here- by, authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami with Biscayne Construction, Inc. for the PARKS - HARD SURFACE COURTS (HENDERSON PARK).
