RESOLUTION NO . 75-1 2
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A PERMIT FOR A SALES PROMOTION
CARNIVAL TO THE CENTRAL SHOPPING PLAZA
MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION ON MARCH 3 THROUGH
MARCH 16, 1975, 3725 Ni W. 7TH STREET,
SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A permit be, and it is hereby,
authorized to be issued to THE CENTRAL SHOPPING PLAZA
MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION for a sales promotion carnival on
March 3 through March 16, 1975, at 3725 N. W. 7th Street,
subject to the following terms and conditions!

1. Such use shall not be established for a
period exceeding fifteen (15) days, nor
shall any one location be used more than
once every ninety (90) days.
2. The operators of the amusement rides shall
obtain the necessary licenses, permits and
Certificate of Use.
4.
Small tents shall be permitted only to carry
on ride activities.
The operators of the amusement rides will
use the adequate restroom facilities in
Central Shopping Plaza as authorized by Cent-
ral Shopping Plaza Merchants Association.
5. The operators and employees of the rides will
not domicile on the property.
6. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold on the
premises.
7. The City of Miami Police Department will be
contacted and the number of off -duty police-
men that the Department feels are necessary

ENCLOSURES:
The application for a carnival to be held at the Central
Shopping Center on •March 3rd through March 16, 1975 has been
received and it complies with the provisions outlined in
Ordinance 47267.
The sponsor's attorney, Mr. W. N. Maer, has been informed
of the requirement of approval of the City of Miami Police
Traffic Section for off -duty police officers to assist
during the hours the carnival and will obtain that approval.
We recommend this item be placed on the Agenda of February
27, 1975. The condition of tent_, and vehicles not being used
for sleeping quarters should be made a part of any approval
oE this request.
