AN ORDINANCE fiCE ME MINE ORDINANCE INANCE NO, 68/1,
THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE;
CITY oP MIAMI* BY CHANCING THE ZONING`
CLASSIFICATION OF TENTATIVE PLAT 4918 - "EDISON
PLAZA") LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 5500 N.W. 2Ni
AVENUE, FROM R=2 (TWo FAMILY), C-4 (GENERAL
CoMMERCtAL) and C-5 (LIBERAL COMMERCIAL) to R=4
(MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE) , AND BY MAKING THE
NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE zoNiNG DISTRICT MAP,
MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY
REE'ERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION
2 THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE
SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND
CONTAINING A SEVEF1ABILITY PROVISION.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Zoning Board at its

meeting of December 2, 1974, Item #9(b)► following an advertised
hearing,, adopted Resolution No. ZB 199-74 by a,7 to 0 vote.

recommending change'.of zoning classification,as hereinafter.
set forth; and

WHEREAS,.. the City Commission deems it advisable in
the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami

and its inhabitants to grant a change in zoning. classification
as hereinafter set'forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6871, the

Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the'City of Miami be, and

the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification
'of Tentative Plat #918 - "EDISON PLAZA", located at.

approximately 5500 N.W. 2nd Avenue, from R-2 (Two Family),

C-4 (General commercial) and C-5 (Liberal Commercial) to R-4
30
(Medium Density Multiple), and by making the necessary changes

in the zoning district map made a part of Ordinance No. 6871
by reference and description in Article III, Section 2 thereof.

conflict herewith, be and the safie ate, hereby repealed ihsbfai
as they ate ih conflict:
Section 3. if any section, sentence, olauser phrase
or word of this ordthatice is for any reason held or declared
to be unconstitutional, inoperative, or Void, such holding
or invalidity shall not affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and it shall be construed to have been the intent of
the Commission of the City of Miami to pass thisordinance
without such unconstitutional, invalid, or inoperative part
therein, and, the remainder of this ordinance, after the,.
exclusion of such part or parts shall be deemed and held to be
valid as if such parts had notbeen included therein.
