RESOLUTION NO . _ 75 -160
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM
THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUNDS - UNALLOCATED
FUNDS TO ESTABLISH A SPECIAL FUND FOR THE
PURCHASE OF MATERIALS AND CONTRACTUAL
SERVICES NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTING
MISCELLANEOUS ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS
TO CITY BUILDINGS.
WHEREAS, under the Manpower Program federal funds have
been made available to the City of Miami for hiring a number of
unemployed persons; and
WHEREAS, under this program the City has engaged
several journeyman carpenters, painters and electricians; and
WHEREAS, the City has plans for making various altera-
tions and additions to existing city buildings; and
WHEREAS, to accomplish these projects it is necessary
to provide funds for the purchase of materials and commodities,
as well as minor contractual services; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds for this appropriation are
available in Capital Improvement Funds - Unallocated Funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF

THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
ITEM NO.
Section 1. That the amount of $50,000 is hereby
appropriated from the Capital Improvement Funds - Unallocated
Funds to establish a special fund for the purchase of materials
and contractual services necessary for constructing miscellaneous
alterations and additions to city buildings.
Section 2. That the procedures for disbursing and
accounting for the expenditures of these funds shall be developed
by the Director of Finance.

Section 3. That these funds shall be expended for
those prujects which nave been autnorized and approved by the
City Commission and the City Manager.
