A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FROM FLORIDA MUNICIPAL SALES FOR A
COMPRESSING TYPE INCINERATOR ASH TRAILER,
FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI AT A COST OF $25,500,00;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO
ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS EQUIPMENT
FROM FUNDS AVAILABLE FROM THE GARAGE RE-
PLACEMENT RESERVE, FISCAL YEAR 1974-75.
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request from the Public
Properties Department for a Compressing Type Incinerator Ash
Trailer for use by the Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS, Florida Municipal Sales has been the only
bidder for the last ten years for this type of equipment at a
cost of $25,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that Florida
Municipal Sales be accepted since it was the only bid received
by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from Florida Municipal
Sales for a Compressing Type Incinerator Ash Trailer, for use
by the Sanitation Department of the City of Miami be, and is
hereby, accepted at a cost of $25,500.00.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Department
to issue a Purchase Order for this equipment from funds
