OF FLORIDA IN THE AMOUNT OF $52,253,83 FOR THE PARKS BASEBALL BACKSTOPS 1975; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $52,253.83 FROM THE ACCOUNT EN- TITLED "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $5,225.08 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $1,045.09 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on January 17, 1975 for the PARKS - BASEBALL BACKSTOPS - 1975; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $52,253.83 bid of ANCHOR POST PRODUCTS INC. OF FLORIDA is the lowest responsive bid to the City and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" for the amount of the Contract, for Project Expense; and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories and "norI,A$Fp,T Itakouii NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The January 17, 1975 bid of ANCHOR POST PRODUCTS, INC. OF FLORIDA in the amount of $52,253.83 for the project entitled PARKS - BASEBALL BACKSTOPS - 1975, namely Item 1 through 8 of Proposal, based on lump sum bid be, and the same is hereby, accepted at the price stated therein. C I'i 'fFTT 12 1575 J Section 2. The amount of $52,253.83 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond Fund" to cover the cost of the Contract. Section 3. The amount of $5,225.08 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work performed by City Forces. Section 4. The amount of $1,045.09 be, and it is hereby, allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories and postage. Section 5. The City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of The City of Miami with Anchor Post Products, Inc. of Florida for the PARKS - BASEBALL BACKSTOPS - 1975.
