A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ROBERT DONALDSON
FOR THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION RIGHTS

WHEREAS, the City of Miami owns the recreation area known
as Manor Park, located at 1300 N.W. 50th Street, Miami, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, activities at the park warrant the operation of
a food and beverage concession to ensure the full enjoyment of
this facility by its patrons;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with
ROBERT DONALDSON for the food and beverage concession rights
at Manor Park, for a period of five (5) years commencing on
and ending on

Concossions - West End and
iv'ianor Packs
The City of Miami advertised for bids for concession
privileges at West End and Manor Parks in April of
1973. Onty one concessionaire responded, Mrs, Mary
Brinker at West End Park. She was subsequently
awarded a five-year lease, ending July 30, 1978.
Mrs. Brinker now wishes to turn this concession over
to Mr. and Ntrs. Ansel Treto. After investigation of
the Tretos, it is recommended that Mrs. Lrinkerls
Agreement be cancelled and a Concession Agreement
be awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Treto.
No response was elicited from the concession bid
advertisement for Manor Park, until approximately
a year later, when Mr, Robert Donaldson, a disabled
veteran, applied for the concession. After investigation
of Mr. Donaldson, it is recommended that a Concession
Agreement be awarded to him.
