A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO
WITH THE UNIVERS = OF MIAMI ON SEPTEMBER
10, 1974 FOR THE PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
OF THE CITY'S EMERGENCY MEDICAL PROGRAM,
EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE ORIGINAL. AGREEMENT
TO.JANUARY 31, 1976.
WHEREAS, the University of Miami and the City of Miami enter-
ed into an Agreement on September 10, 1974, whereby the University
of Miami assigned a member of its teaching facu]ty to work with
and supervise the professional portion of the emergency medical
program of the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the said Agreement will terminate on January 31,
1975; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the terms of the Agreement said
Agreement may be al.tered or amended upon the written consent of

WHEREAS, the parties are desirous of amending the reement
to extend its provisions until January 31, 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager and the City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute an amendment to the '
Agreement entered into with the University of Miami on September
10, ]974 for the professional supervision of the City's emergency
medical program, extending the term of the original Agreement
to January 31, 1976.
