A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
TO PAY TO ELIZABETH S. STEINI3ERG AND JJLIUS STEINBERG
WITHOUT THE ADMISSIJu OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $329,00
IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETPLFMENT OF ALL CLAIMS
AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE, RELEASING THE CITY OF
MIAMI FROM Alit CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Elizabeth S. Steinberg, a married woman, filed
a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the
amount of $329.00 for personal injuries received in a fall on
an allegedly defective sidewalk at or near Southwest 22nd Ter-
race, between Southwest 34th and 36th Avenues, in the City of
Miami, on June 21, 1974; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recoTx1ends, that this claim
be settled .fo _ the sum of $329.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cOMM1SSI:)N OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to pay to Elizabeth S. Steinberg and Julius Steinberg,
her husband, without the admission of liability, the sum of $329.00
in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands against
the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release, releasing
the City of Miami frJra all claims and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12 day DE FEBRUARY____--, 1975.
