RESOLUTION NO, 75-116
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO AMOS RAGANS WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF
$77,58 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI
FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Amos Raaans filed a claim against the Cii:v
of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $77.58 on Februar,'
4, 1974 when it was discovered that his Iverson Bicycle, Serial
Number 530752 had been stolen from the City bicycle impoundment
pen; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated bY the office
of the Cite A`_ orney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $77.58.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION

OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: A"DOCUMENT INDNDsr

Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereb
authorized to pay to Amos Ragans without the admission of
liability,', the sum of $77.58 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the Citof Miami, upon
the exec-tion of a release releasin7 the City of Miami from
all claims and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12 day of FEBRUARY
1975.
