AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE,
NO: 831E (THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR
THE .974-75 BU1X ET) B? APPROPRIATING
$4,550400 FROM THE MARINE BTADIUM FUND
BALANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING BOUT TERN
BOAT BHOWB , INC, FOR THE PURCHABE OF TWO
(2) FLOATING DOCKS TO BE USED, AT THE
MARINE STADIUM; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCESi
CODE SECTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT;
AND PROVIDING AN. EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission passed and adopted
Resolution No. 74-1390 on December,17, 1974, authorizing the
City Manager to make. an emergency purchase from The
,Southern Boat Shows,'Inc. for two (2) Floating Docks for
use at the Marine Stadium, at a total cost of $4,550.001 and
WHEREAS, the funds for:this purchase are available ,
in the Marine Stadium Fund Balance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI; FLORIDA:
Section 1. The appropriation Ordinance No. 8316.
adopted October 10, 1974 be; and the same is hereby, amended
by appropriating $4,550.00 from the Marine Stadium Fund Balance
for the purpose of paying Southern Boat. Shows, Inc. for the
purchase of two (2) Floating Docks to be used at the Marine
Stadium.
Section 2. If any section, part of section,
paragraph, clause, phrase, or work of this ordinance is
declared invalid, theremaining provisions of the ordinance
shall not be affected.
Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances,
insofar as they are inconsistent or in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance, are hereby repealed,
Section 4. This Ordinanceis hereby declared to
be ah emergency ineastire on the ground of urgent public heed
for the preservation of peace, health, Safety, and property
of the City of Miami,
Section 5_ The requirement of reading this
ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by
a.four-fifths vote of the members of the commission.
Section,6.' The provisions of this ordinance shall
become effective on PUBIICATLOt1 $ 1975.
