Dear Ed
The proposal for a goodwill tour and world -record attempt
by a single -engine seaplane, "Spirit of Miami '76",
received an enthusiastic approval by Third Century's
Executive Committee. This event will certainly bring
attention to the festival that Miami is inviting the world
to participate in.
Your project will gain additional national exposure by
our placing a description of the planned flight on the
master calendar of events maintained by the American
Rv lu t ion Bicentennial Administration (ARBA) . Limited
statf assistance will be available in preparing press .
releases, and other activities in making this flight
become a reality.
As have already discussed, please use Third Century's
log on your stationery. printed materials and on the
plane, to gain recognition as a Bicentennial event.
Also, in order to keep this organization informed, please
advise of your progress at least on a quarterly basis.
f took forward to the "lift-off" - adding a new dimension
to Greater Miami's observance of America's Bicentennial
celebration.
In the Spirit of '76,
