AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the International Folk Festival and International
Ball has become one of the major summer attractions in Miami re=
flecting the Latin-American Festival atmosphere and contributing
essential revenues towards the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS-, the total proposed expenses for the 1975
Festival are $39,070.00, of which $23,570.0C has been budgeted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED_BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY or MIAMI, FLORIDA:
` Section 1. Ordinance,No. 8316,, the appropriation
ordinance for the City of Miami for the'fiscal'years, 1974-1975,
is hereby amended. by appropriating $15,500.00 from unanticipated
revenues and adding that to the Publicity Fund for the 1975
International Folk Festival and International Ball.
'Section 2... All ordinances, code sections or parts,
thereof in conflict herewith. insofar as they are in conflict are,
hereby repealed
Section 3.' The provisions of this ordinance shall become

Dept. of Publicity and Tourism
Ordinance amending the 1974-75 Budget Appropriation Ordinance
permitting the use of revenues of $15, 500 from the 1975 International
Polk Festival for partial payment of obligations .incurred. These
revenues are to be supplemented by proposed budgeted .fronds from the
Department of Publicity and Tourism in the amount of $23,570 making
the total proposed expenses for the Festival $39,070, which agrees with
the Festival budget for 1975 as submitted by Mr. Moray Freedman,
Chairman of the Festival.
