RESOLUTION NO, 7S 65
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE RENTAL FEE FOR USE
OF THE BAYFRONT PARK BANDSHELL BY THE FEDER-
ATION OP CUBAN PRIVATE SCHOOLS FOR A JOSE MARTT
WEEK CEREMONY, FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 1.00 P.M. ON
JANUARY 28, 1975, SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF EVENT
PERSONNEL, LIGHTS, INSURANCE AND OTHER DIRECT
COSTS CHARGED BY THE CITY, SAID PAYMENT TO BE
PAID IN ADVANCE TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7733 provides for use for
public purposes of certain municipal facilities; and
WIiEREAS, the organization requesting free use of
the City facility comes within the purview of organizations
which are educational, literary, scientific, religious or
charitable, or is performing a public purpose, and said use
is deemed by this Commission to be for a public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Commission of the City of
Miami hereby waives the fee for the use of Federation of
Cuban Private Schools from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on
January 28, 1975 for a Jose Marti Week Ceremony, subject
to the following terms and conditions:
(a) That said organization shall obtain liability
insurance in such amounts and with such carriers as
the City Manager deems appropriate for the protection
of the City;
(b) Payment of utilities used for the staging of
the events shall be paid for by the above named "DOCU��E«T INDEX
organization; ITEM NO.
(c) Payment for all City personnel necessary
for the operation of the City's facility during the
staging of said event and payment for all police
personnel required for the staging of said event
deemed necessary by the facility manager shall be
paid by the organization. '

(d) Payment for all costs necessary for the cleanup
of the City' s facility after staging said event deemed
necessary by the facility manager shall be paid by the
organization. PAYMENT TO BE MADE TO THE CITY IN ADVANCE'
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9 day of JANUARY
1975.
