RESOLUTION NO,
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED NOVEMBER
26, 1974 FROM BETTER BUSINESS FORMS, INC, FOR
FURNISHING COMPUTER PAPER FOR USE BY THE POLICE
AND FINANCE DEPARTMENTS FOR A ONE (1) YEAR PERIOD
FROM DATE OF AWARD AT A TOTAL COST OF $45,933.02;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS FROM TIME TO TIME AFTER FIRST DETERMINING
THAT FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THIS PURCHASE FROM
THE 1974-75 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received on November 26, 1974 for furnishing computer paper
for use by the Police and Finance Departments for a one (1)
year period; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eleven (11) potential
suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid re-
ceived from Better Business Forms, Inc. at a total cost of
$45,933.02 be accepted as the most advantageous to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISST,ON OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Better Business Forms, Inc. re-
ceived on November 26, 1974 for furnishing computer paper
for use by the Police and Finance Departments for a one (1)
year period at a total cost of $45,933.02 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue purchase
orders from time to time after first determining that funds
are available for this purchase from the 1974-75 fiscal year
budget.

It is recommended that the award be made to Better Business Forms,
Inc. for furnishing Computer Paper for use by the Police and Finance
Departments for a one (1) year period from date of award at an annual
cost of $45,933.02.
The Departments of Police and Finance concur with this recommendation.
