A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FROM BALL MAINTENANCE & SUPPLIES, INC.
FOR FURNISHING WINDOW CLEANING SERVICE
TO CITY BUILDINGS FOR A PERIOD FROM
JANUARY 1, 1975 TO DECEMBER 31, 1975 AT
A TOTAL COST OF $3,052.00: AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THIS SERVICE
FROM FUNDS PROVIDED IN THE 1974-75
FISCAL YEAR BUDGET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received November 22, 1974 for furnishing window
cleaning service to City Buildings, for a period from
January 1, 1975 to December 31, 1975; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirteen (13)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the
hid of BALL MAINTENANCE & SUPPLIES, INC. be accepted since
it was the most advantageous bid to the City at a total cost

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from BALL MAINTENANCE &
SUPPLIES, INC. for furnishing window cleaning service to
City Buildings for a period from January 1, 1975 to December 31,
1975 at a total cost of $3,052.00 be, and is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the proper City Officials
to enter into a contract with BALL MAINTENANCE & SUPPLIES, INC.

Pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received November
22, 1974 for furnishing Window Cleaning Service, Citywide, for
a period from January 1, 1975 to December 31, 1975.
Invitations were mailed to thirteen (13) potential suppliers
and two (2) bids were received as follows:

Ball Maintenance & Supplies, Inc. $3,052.00
National Window Cleaning 3,066.00
This Window Cleaning Contract provides for service by the month,
quarterly or semi-annually, depending on location, per the
attached schedule of prices.
Funds for this service are provided in the 1974-75 fiscal year
budget.
It is recommended that the award be made to Ball Maintenance &
Supplies, Inc. for furnishing Window Cleaning Service, Citywide,
for the period from January 1, 1975 to December 31, 1975 at a
cost of $3,052.00.
The Department of Public Properties concurs with this
recommendation.
