A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FROM WOODBURY CHEMICAL CO. FOR FURNISHING
FOUR (4) TONS OF 20-20-20 WATER SOLUBLE
CHEMICAL FERTILIZER FOR USE BY THE PARKS
DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION AT A TOTAL COST OF $3,040,00
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO
ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS MATERIAL
FROM FUNDS PROVIDED IN THE 1974-75 FISCAL
YEAR BUDGET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received December 3, 1974 for furnishing four (4) tons
of 20-20-20 water soluble chemicals and one hundred (100)
tons of 8-12-6 fertilizer for use by the Parks Division of
the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to seventeen (17)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received for the
20-20-20 water soluble chemical fertilizer and no bids were

WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the
bid of WOODBURY CHEMICAL CO. be accepted at a total cost of
$3,040.00 since it is the most advantageous bid to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received from WOODBURY CHEMICAL
CO. be, and is hereby, accepted as follows:
