A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF COUNTY
PLASTICS CORP. FOR FURNISHING FIVE HUNDRED
(500) TOTE CONTAINERS FOR USE BY THE WASTE
COLLECTION DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
SANITATION AT A TOTAL COST OF $7,250.00;
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANA-
GER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT TO
ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THIS EQUIPMENT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $7,250.00 FROM FUNDS PROVIDED
FOR THIS PURCHASE IN THE 1974-75 FISCAL YEAR
BUDGET.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received November 12, 1974 for furnishing five hundred (500)
tote containers for use by the Waste Collection Division of
the Department of Sanitation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eighteen (18)
potential suppliers and three (3) bids were received ; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of COUNTY PLASTICS CORP. which was the most advantageous bid
to the City, be accepted at a cost of $7,250.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE

Section 1. The bid of County Plastics Corp. for
furnishing five hundred (500) tote containers for use by the
Waste Collection Division of the Department of Sanitation
at a total cost of $7,250.00 be, and is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. The City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Department
to issue a Purchase Order for this equipment in the amount
of $7,250.00 from funds provided for this purchase in the

$7,250.00,
The Department of Sanitation concurs with this recommendation.
