HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-75-00052 3 4 5 6 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 MEA/cs 12/30/74 RESOLUTION NO. 75-5 A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY VACATING AND CLOSING NORTHWEST 55TH STREET, APPROXIMATE- LY 140 FEET WEST OF NORTHWEST SECOND AVENUE, IN ACCORbANCE WITH TENATIVE PLAT NO, 918, EDISON PLAZA WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of December 2, 1974, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 198-74 by a seven to zero vote recommending the official vacation and closure of Northwest 55th Street, approximately 140 feet west of Northwest Second Avenue, in accordance with tenative Plat No. 918, Edison Plaza; and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and in the best interest of the public that the official vacation and closure be made as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Northwest 55th Street approximately 140 feet west of Northwest Second Avenue, in accordance with ten- ative Plat No. 918, Edison Plaza, is hereby vacated and closed. Andrews City of Miami, Florida Gentlemen: i t, laribn December 10, 1974 Re: CHANGE OP ZONING RECOMMENDED Approximately 5500 N.W. 2nd Avenue Tentative Plat #918 - "EDISON PLAZA" Applicant: Dade County Dept. of HUD The Miami Zoning Board, at its meeting of December 2, 1974, Item #9(b), following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZR 199-74 by a 7 to 0 vote Recommending Change of Zoning Classification of Tentative Plat #918 - "EDISON PLAZA", located at approximately 5500 N.W. 2nd Avenue, from R-2 (Two Family), C-4 (General Commercial) and C-5 (Liberal Commercial) to R-4 (Medium Density Multiple). Two objections were received in the mail. An ORDINANCE to provide for this Change of Zoning has been prepared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the City Commission.
