RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONCEPT OF
toC,TiNG THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK IN THE
DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of th
end metropolitan community that the Downtown area
Miami be revitalized; and
WHEREAS, the central location of various govern-
mantal agencies is a vital aspect of this effort;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City supports the concept of
building the Federal Reserve Bank in the Downtown Government
in concert with other governmental agencies,
, the Off -Street Parking Authority, the
Authority and the New World Center Action
Center and will work
including the County
Downtown Development
Committee to negotiate with the Federal Reserve Board to
establish its headquarters in the Downtown area.
