FOR THIS MATERIAL.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids Were
edeived November 15, 1976 for furnishing granule fertilizers
the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to 24 potential
sppliers and only one bid was received; and
WHEREAS, funds for this purchase are available in
the budgeted funds of the Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, this material will be used by the Department
of Parks and Recreation for the purpose of fertilizing the Miami
Springs Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Parks
and Recreation recommend that the bid received from 0. M. Scott
and Sons for furnishing granule fertilizers at a total cost of
$14,968.40 be accepted, as it was the onlysbidC���IIgdn'r,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The November 15, 1976 bid of O. M. Scott
and Sons for furnishing granule fertilizers to the City at a
total cost of $14,968.40 is hereby accepted, with funds therefor
hereby allocated from the budgeted funds of the Department of Parks
and Recreation.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Agent to issue a Purchase Order for the
foresaid material.
