BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OP'
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the
Use of DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM on January 30, 1977 for the
Luncheon Meeting, sponsored by Municipalities of Cuba in Exile,
is hereby approved, subject to payment for event personnel,
insurance, and other direct costs borne by the City.
Section 2. The City reserves the right to cancel
the above waiver or change the date herein authorized provided
that the exercise of such right occurs on or before January 16,
1977.

As per Mayor Ferre's memorandum, we recommend that the
'Municipalities of Cuba in Exile request for free rental of
the Dinner. Key Auditorium be granted.
following is information concerning the Municipalities of
Cuba in Exile whose president, Mr. Nicomedes Hernandez, has
requested use of the Dinner Key Auditorium on January 30,
1977.

Dear Mayor:
The Municipalities of Cuba in ttile, representing the free people
of Cuba, have reserved Dinner Key Auditorium, Sunday, January 30, 1977
for the Cuban National Fraternity Lunch.
Furthermore, wishing to comply with resolutions adopted at Inter-
national Conferences, we are planning to celebrate a Worldwide Congress,
of the Free Countries, ,? _nt rt�_. 2't, _(Jos. i1 rti and _30 c>f
January 1977 the closing event on Jaui. 30 will be a Worldwide Fraternity
Lunch of Free Men, at Dinner Key.
We are hopeful that as an outcome of this Worldwide Congress, to
establish in Miami, The First Anti -Communist International of the World,"
complimenting the agreement of the conference on behalf of Freedom and
Defense, held in Washington, September 25-28, 1975.
I have the pleasure of enclosing a copy of the Motion that was
approved by the Central Executive Committee of Municipalities. Inasmuch
as the Municipalities of Cuba in Exile Inc. is a non-profit organization,
we are requesting from you and the Honorable Commissioners a waiver of
rental fees for this luncheon at Dinner Key Auditorium on Jan. 30.
