The University of Miami has requested use of the ylelreese Golf Course for the 1,Yoments Intercollegiate Invitational Golf Tournament to be held on February 5 - 8, 1977. The University of Miami's request for use of City golf courses, will attract ten teams from the State of Florida and Furman University the defendin, national MAW Champions. By playing at Melreese Golf Course, the City will receive regional recognition, and I believe this will help to increase play at our Courses. It is recommended that we waive a partial fee for this College Tournament so each player will pay $3. 00 per round. _. .. AHH/der encls.
