AMOLUTION NO, 76-1138
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT A GRANT AWARD IN THE SUM OF
$45,000 FROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DEPART-
MENT OF COMMUNITY AF'FAIRS,FOR THE CITY OF
MIAMI'S CHILD DAY CARE PROGRAM, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
NECESSARY CONTRACT(S) AND/OR AGREEMENT(S)
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE SAID PROGRAM.
WHEREAS,
the City Manager or his representative
applied for a grant from the State of

Florida, Department
of Community Affairs, for the City of Miami's Child Day
Care Program; and
WHEREAS, this program will expand or improve the
delivery of municipal services to the residents of the City
of Miami; and
WHEREAS, sufficient City funds have been identified
from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to meet all requirements
for match purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THN"c"

Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorize to
accept a grant award in the sum of $45,000 from the State of
Florida, Department of Community Affairs, for the City of
Miami's Child Day Care Program;
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 2.
The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute the necessary contract(s) and/or agreement(s) to
implement the aforesaid program.
