'I EtTS DISPENSING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
$URING THE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3-8(h) of the Code of the
y of Miami, the Commission may extend the hours of sale of,
tOholic beverages on special occasions; and
WHEREAS, previous City Commissions have found it to be
r the best interest of the City of Miami to allow extended hours
for alcoholic beverage sales during the Holiday Season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
11E CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from the period commencing December 24,
1976 through December 31, 1976, the following extensions are
granted:

(a) Package stores may remain open for
the sale of packaged alcoholic beverages until
12:00 o'clock midnight on Christmas Eve, Friday,
December 24, 1976, and on New Year's Eve, Friday,
December 31, 1976.
(b) Those establishments serving alcoholic
beverages for consumption on the premises may remain
open Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24, 1976, and
New Year's Eve, Friday, December 31, 1976, until
2:00 o'clock A.M. the following day.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1976.
