The amount of $5,000 "SUPPORTIVE FOLLOW" SOLUTION Nb 764126 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT IN THE NET AMOUNT Off` $5,000 FOR THE BELCHER PROPERTY - PARK DEVELOPMENT; AND ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" FOR PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR, EBSARY FOUNDATION COMPANY. WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to Ebsary Foundation Company on May 27, 1976 for the replacement of the failing bulk- head at the Belcher Property, immediately North of the former Port of Miami, now BICENTENNIAL PARK; and WHEREAS, after construction was started was the additional expense necessary in the containment of residual oil encountered in excavation in the construction area; and WHEREAS, this additional expense caused an increase in scope of the contract in the amount of $5,000, making the adjusted amount $190,000; and WHEREAS, funds of the contract from the FACILITIES BOND FUND"; are available for the increase in the scope account entitled "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE "DOCUMENT, "�IDEX ITEM NO. -- is hereby allocated from the account entitled "PUBLIC PARKS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" for payment to the contractor, Ebsary Foundation Company, for construction of the BELCHER PROPERTY - PARK DEVELOPMENT by reason of an increase in the scope of the contract in the amount of $5,000. 1976.
