Although the City has not executed a formal agreement, it has been participating since the center opened. on April 1, 197E. In October, 1975 the City Comm ssior by Resolution 75-976 authorized the City Manager to enter into a contract for membership with this organization, subject to the cost not exceeding $2,500 for the 1976 membership. Resolution 75-1080 provided the necessary funds for this membership. A legal interpretation of one section prevented the City from signing a contract for membership. This problem has been resolved and the contract is ready for execution.
