TEgbLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AMEND THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREE
MENT WITH THE FIRM OF PEAT, MARWICK, MITCHEI,L
AND COMPANY, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS,
APPROVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION BY RESOLUTION
NO. 76-733, ON JULY 22, 1976, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONDUCTING THE AUDIT OF THE BOOKS, ACCOUNT-
ING RECORDS AND FINANCES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI's
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR THE PERIOD
BEGINNING MAY 16, 1975 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,
1976 AT A COST OF $6,000 TO BE PAID OUT OF
SECOND YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUND.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development requires that an audit of the Community Development
Program be conducted at least every two years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE. CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to amend
the existing professional service contract between the City of
Miami and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company, certified public
accountants, to include under Item 2 (Basic Services) therein,
the performance of a Community Development Program Audit of the
books, accounting records and finances of said Program for the
period beginning May 16, 1975 and ending September 30, 1976, and
to include under Item 5 (Compensation) therein, an amount not to
exceed $6,000 as compensation for said audit, with funds therefor
to be paid from Second Year Community Development Block Grant Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16 day of December, 1976.
