The City of Miami Law Department received a claim for personal
injuries from Mr. Jesus Villasuso through his attorneys, Ser,
Kefetz, De Cardenas and Levine.
Mr. Villasuso claimed Lc 1-"ia c 1:c.'CC- A•: ecl personal injuries when
attacked by a City of Miami Police clog while said dog was off-
duty at the police officer's home located at 12001 S.W. 179th
Terrace, Miami, Florida on January 1st, 1976.
As a result of this incident, Mr. Villasuso sustained injuries
to his right elbow, right wrist and right hand.
Mr. Villasuso was treated by Drs. Gregory, I<urzner 8 Rohanj•
Orthopedic surgeons, who gave the following impression;
1. Contusion on right hand and wrist.
2. Resolving abrasion of right- elbow.
The total medical bills submitted by the claimant's doctor •and';
by Miami. Dade Geneneral Hospital v'ountcd to $277.00.
Mir. Villasuso's attorney also mac c a demand for $ 30.00 for
wages by his client.
Mr. Lawrence S. Allen of Ser, Keyfetz, De Cardenas and Levine,
submitted a demand for $3,200.00 to settle this matter. However,
after negotiations with Mr. Mario Santana, Legal Investigator of the
Law Department, claimant's attorney has accepted the sum of $1,000.00
in full and complete settlement of this claim.
