A RESODUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF A.M.i'.
CORPORATION IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF
$170,820.87 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-38; ALLOCATING
THE AMOUNT OF $170,820.87 FROM THE ACCOUNT
ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUNDS" TO COVER
THE PROPOSED CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $18,790.13 TO
COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE;ALLOCATING

WITH SAID FIRM.

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on October 26,
1976 for the construction of WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-38; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports the $170,820.87
bid of A.M.J. Corporation is the lowest responsible bid and
recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" for the proposed
amount of the contract, for project expense, and for such items
as advertising, testing laboratories and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The October 26, 1976 bid of A.M.J. Cor-
poration in the proposed amount of $170,820.87 for the project
entitled WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-38, namely, Alternate Base
Bid III of Proposal, based on unit prices, is ilergby.. c Ip :dy
at the price stated therein.

Section 2. The amount of $170,820.87 is hereby

allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" to
cover the proposed cost of the contract.
Section 3. The amount of $18,790.13 is hereby
allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of
project expense which includes engineering, surveys and inspecw-
tion work performed by City Forces,
