A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL WAIVER
OP THE RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE OF BAYFRONT
PARK AUDITORIUM FOR THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY
FESTIVAL AND WORLD WIDE BAZAAR ON DECEM-

WHEREAS, funds raised by this event will be dispersed
the University of Miami Medical School for cancer education
—
reSearch; and
WHEREAS, this annual affair has developed into a
tourist attraction with ethnic groups participating and an
average of 10,000 persons attending;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OP
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The waiver of the rental fee for the use
of Bayfront Park Auditorium for the Annual Holiday Festival and
World Wide Bazaar on December 4 and 5, 1976, sponsored by the
University of Miami Woman's Cancer Association is hereby approved,
subject to payment for event personnel, insurance, and other
direct costs borne by the City.
Section 2. The City reserves the right to cancel the
above waiver or change the date herein authorized provided that
the exercise of such right occurs on or before November 20, 1976.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11 day of NOVEMBER
1976.
