TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH LATIN CHAMBER
OE COMMERCE OF U.S.A., A NONPROFIT ORGANIZA=
TION, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBCONTRACTING THREE
(3) C.E.T.A. PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT
POSITIONS TO BE FUNDED THROUGH C.E.T.A.
ALLOCATION OF $8,084.74 TO BE RECEIVED BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI UNDER A REEMENT BETWEEN
CITY AND METROPOLITAN DALE COUNT1, AS AGENT
FOR THE MANPOWER PLANNING CONSORTIUM.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami operates public serViCe
mployment programs under the Comprehensive Employment and
Training Act of 1973 (C.E.T.A.), as amended; and
WHEREAS, Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S.A., a iron-
profit organization, has requested the City of Miami to provide
it certain public service employment positions in order to
enhance services to City of Miami residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into an agreeement with Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S.A.,
a nonprofit organization, for the purpose of subcontracting three
(3) C.E.T.A. public service employment positions to be funded
through C.E.T.A. allocation of $8,034.74 to be received by the
City of Miami under agreements between the City and Metropolitan
Dade County, as agent for the Manpower Planning Consortium.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11 day of NOVEMBER , 1976.
