A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OP A PERMIT TO BORINQUEN LION'S CLUB
`OR AMUSEMENT RIDES AT THE MIAMI STADIUM
PARKING LOT IN CONNECTION WITH ITS CARNI..
VAL ON NOVEMBER 19 THROUGH 28, 1976,
SUBJECT TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Section 1. A permit is hereby authorized to be
issued to BORINQUEN LION'S CLUB for amusement rides at the
Miami Stadium Parking Lot in connection with its carnival
on November 19 through 28, 1976, subject

that the Department feels are necessary to
direct traffic and provide for security will
be employed by the permit holder.
Operations must conform to noise level require-
ments as set forth by the Director of the
Building Department.

An application has been received for a carnival to be
held at Miami Stadium, November 19th to November 28,
1976 to be sponsored by the Miami Borinquen Lions
Club.
It complies with all provisions of Ordinance #7267,
it is recommended that the attached provisos be �a

We have evaluatedthe requests, for permits for the following carnivals
and determined that these carnivals will require the following police
officers for security.
Both carnivals will utilize a rmi.ni_um of three (3) officers
and (1) supervisor.
Police officers will be on duty during all hours of operation
of the carnivals.
The Boringquen Lions` s Club will hold a carnival from 19 Nov. ?6 to
28 Nov. 76 at the Miami Stadium Parking Lot, and the International
Order of Masons will hold their annual carnival from 1 Dec 76 to
12 Dec 76 at the parking lot of the former Shell City store.

This is a request to hold another Carnival at the
Miami Stadium from November 19 thru November 28th,
1976, sponsored by the Miami-Borinquen Lions Club.
We, again , would like to express our gratitude for
this permision , because with the monies supplied
by this activity we have been abble to sponsor many
civic and athletic activities in our community.
We have already secured the dates with Mr. Rubio
and pray that you will, again, wave the daily fee.
