Establishing a Zoned Street Width of 9th Avenue,
N. E. approximately 160' north of N. E. 83rd
Street, at 40' (50' normally required). This is
in conjunctio:& with a new tentative plat of the
area adjacent to this street. The Applicant is
Marie Meyer. The Zoninc; Board by a 5 to 2 vote
recommends Denial; the Planning Department's
recommendation is Approval. Eleven objections
were received in the mail. Twenty-one objectors
to this item were present at the Zoning Board
Meeting.
2. ORDINANCE - FIRST READING
Granting the applicant, Fred Kirtland, a Change
(a) of Zoning Classification of Lots 2, 3 & 4 less
W5' and less the S20' of Lot 4, Block 1, RIVERMONT
PARK (4-46), being 901 N. W. 13th Avenue, from R-4
(Medium Density Multiple) to W-I (Waterfront
Industrial). The Zoning Board recommends this
Change of Zoning by a 6 to 0 vote; and the
Planning Department's recommendation is for
Approval. One objection was received in the mail
no objectors were present at the Zoning Board
Meeting.

Board recommended Approval by a 5 to 1 vote and
the Planning Department recommends Approval. No.

RESOLUTION
For the vacation and closure of N. W. 33rd Avenue
from the north right-of-way line of N.W. 13th
Terrace, northerly to Comfort Canal, in conjunc-
tion with Tentative Plat #961 - "YVETTE SUB".
The Zoning Board recommends by a 4 to 2 vote, and
the Planning Department's recommendation is for
Approval. The applicant is Nestor Gonzalez. No
objections were received in the mail; four
objectors were present at the meeting.
RESOLUTION
Granting the applicant, Miami Caribe Investments,
permission to fill submerged land adjacent to 1627,
1643 Brickell Avenue and Lots to the Southwest.
The Zoning Board recommends by a 6 to 0 vote; the
Planning Department's recommendation is for
Approval. Three objectors to this item were
present at the Zoning Board Meeting; no objections

RESOLUTION
Declaring South Miami Avenue from S. E. 15th Road
to Alatka Street as a Scenic Transportation
Corridor. The Planning Advisory Board recommended
Approval by a 5 to 2 vote, and the Planning De-
partment recommendation is for Approval.

Corridor. The Planning Advisory Board recommended

The Planning Advisory Board recommended Approval
by a 6 to 1 vote, and the Planning Department
recommendation is for Approval.

Ingraham Highway as a Scenic Transportation
Corridor. The Planning Advisory Board recommended

APPEAL
By Athina Caralis the Zoning Board Grant of a
Variance to Martin E. Davis, waiving certain set-
back requirements to permit an addition to a single
family residence at 2330 N. E. 7th Avenue. The
Zoning Board Granted this Variance by a 6 to 1 vote
and the Planning Department's recommendation is for
Approval. One objector to this item was present at
the Zoning Board Meeting. Two objections were re-
ceived in the mail.
RESOLUTION
Granting a one year extension of the Conditional
Use granted on the property at 1320 North Bayshore
Drive by Zoning Board Resolution No. ZB 47-76.

Granting a one year extension of the Conditional

the expansion of a meat processing plant at

PERSONAL APPEARANCE

initiate action to change the Zoning Ordinance to
permit Rental Car Agencies in the C-3 Zoning Dis-
trict.
13. AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION 74-970
Continuation of public hearing from June 17, 1976,
for consideration of an amendment to Resolution
74-970, which prohibited any openings in the wall
along the N. W. llth Street side of Central
Shopping Center, 3875 N. W. 7th Street. Considera-
tion is requested that an opening be provided in
this wall to facilitate traffic generated by the
Florida Division of Driver Licenses. During the
original hearings in 1974, the Planning Department
recommended the opening in the wall and the Zoning
Board by a vote of 7 to 0 recommended an opening
in the wall.
