A RESOLUTION DECLARING SOUTH MIAMI AVENUE FROM
S.E. 15TH ROAD TO ALATKA STREET WITH A WIDTH AS
FOLLOWS: S.E. 15TH ROAD TO S.E. 32ND ROAD INCLUDES
ONLY THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (120'); S.E. 32ND
ROAD TO ALATKA STREET INCLUDES ZONED STREET RIGHT-
OF-WAY (70') PLUS ZONED STREET YARD AREA (20') OF
ALL PROPERTIES ABUTTING BOTH SIDES OF THE DESIGNATED
STREET AS A SCENIC TRANSPORTATION CORRIDOR (THEREBY
BECOMING AN ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION DISTRICT)
AS PER CHAPTER 64 OF THE MIAMI CITY CODE, AND
DIRECTING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY ON THE OFFICIAL
MAP MAINTAINED BY THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT DELINEAT-
ING ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its
meeting of July 7, 1976, Item No. 2(a), following an advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution NO. PAB 16-76 by a 5 to 2 vote
recommending the property as hereinafter set forth to become a
scenic transportation corridor; and
WHEREAS, the Commission after careful consideration and
due deliberation finds that the property as hereinafter described
meets the criteria of a scenic transportation corridor as provided
in Chapter 64-6 (b)(3) of the City of Miami Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. South Miami Avenue frdcri S.E. ' 15th Road --
Street with a width as follows: S.E. 15th Road to S.E.
includes only the Public Right -of -Way (120'); S.E. 32nd
Road to Alatka Street includes Zoned Street Right -of -Way (70')
plus zoned street yard area (20') of all properties abutting both
sides of the designated street is hereby designated as a scenic
transporation corridor (thereby becoming an Environmental
Preservation District) as per Chapter 64 of the Miami City Code.
Section 2. The proper official of the Building Depart-
ment be, and he is hereby directed to include said property on
the official map maintained by the Building Department delineating
Environmental Preservation Districts.
