bear Mr, Grassier
It was a pleasure to meet you and have the opportutiity to tutu§§
ur record with the City and our plans for the future.
As was agreed at the last City Commission meeting, we are
prepared to present at the October 14th meeting our proposal fora major
restaurant along with major improvements to the leasehold property, in
return for an extension of our present lease to a term adequate to amortize
these major investments. I am confident that the terms of the safeguards
necessary to protect the City's interest over such a long term can be
satisfactorily negotiated, as well as the realities of providing security
for the sizeable amount of capital that will be required as an investment.
We are prepared to make our presentation in conjunction with
Universal Restaurants following the public hearing on the Dinner Key
Auditorium, as was recommended by the City Commission.
Again, it was a pleasure to meet you and we look forward to
actively working with you in developing the potential of this area in ways
