A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
$i,000 FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO THE
APPROPRIATE ACCOUNT FOR PAYMENT TO NORA
SWAN FOR HER SERVICES AS CHAIRPERSON OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BICENTENNIAL COMMITTEE
THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1976.
WHEREAS, at the September 9, 1976 Meeting the Cite
irnniission adopted Motion of Intent No. 76-811 to allocate the
sUrn of $1,000 to be used with existing surplus and matching
funding from the Dade County School Board for payment to NORA
SWAN, an employee of the Dade County Board of Public Instruction,
in order that said NORA SWAN may continue her activities in
connection with the Bicentennial Celebration through December 31,
1976,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OP
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The transfer of $1,000 from the Contin-
gency Fund to the appropriate account for payment to NORA SWAN,
for her services as Chairperson of the City of Miami Bicentennial
Committee through December 31, 1976, is hereby authorized.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14 day of OCTOBER
1976.
