The following claim has been made against the City of Miami:
BRANCH, Ruby Lee vs. City of MiaMi VC-76-158

Miami Police Department.
Upon their arrost their property was taken from them con-
sisting of $791.00 in U,S..currenCy. Said property was placed
in the Miami Police Department.Pfbporty Room..
On September 16, 1976, Circuit Court Judge Alan R. Schwartz,
ordered the City of Miami Police Department to return the
above mentioned property to Mr. JFimes 'Branch.
When Mr. Branch requested his property from the Miami Police.,,

After a thorough investigation of this matter, it has been
determined that this is one of a series of cases where items
:have been missing from the Property Unit of the Miami Police
Department.
Based on the recommendation of Mr. Mario Santana, Legal In-
vestigator, I recommend that the above claim be settled for
the amount claimed by the claimatit and verified by the Miami
