►ie ETA Title II program has been in operation since August 1974, and has been
Mended twice during that period of time in order to extend the Program. Cur-
rently, the Title II contract had been scheduled to expire on June 30, 1976, but
'an extension has been provided allowing a continuation of the Program to December
81, 1976. This extension would permit us to continue the employment of the ap-
proximately 505 CETA employees contained within the Title II Program, and would
increase the total compensation for the City from $1,904,538 to $3,943,414.
Therefore, it is appropriate for the City Manager to request authorization from
the City Commission to enter into the agreement with Metropolitan Dade County
thus amending this previous contract.
