RESOLUTION NO. 20-02
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF OFF-STREET PARKING D/B/A MIAMI
PARKING AUTHORITY ("MPA") AUTHORIZING THE
CHANGE OF DESIGNATED SIGNATORY FOR ALL MPA
RELATED DOCUMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY AND
APPROPRIATE FOR THE DAY-TO-DAY FUNCTION OF THE
MPA, INCLUDING FINANCIAL AUTHORIZATIONS FOR
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS FROM BANK .ACCOUNTS,
FROM THE PREVIOUS SIGNATORY, ARTHUR NORIEGA, V,
TO THE NEW SIGNATORY, ALEJANDRA ARGUDIN;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on February 24, 2020, Arthur Noriega' V, Chief Executive Officer
("CEO") of the Department of Off -Street Parking d/b/a Miami Parking Authority ("MPA")
was appointed to the position of City Manager of the City of Miami, Florida ("City
Manager"); and
WHEREAS, for almost two decades as CEO, Mr. Noriega V, was an authorized
signatory for all documents relating to the MPA; and
WHEREAS, since his appointment to the position of City Manager, a replacement
signatory is necessary for the continuous conduct of MPA business, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors find the designation of Alejandra Argudin as
signatory of MPA related documents, will serve the best interests of the MPA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF OFF-STREET PARKING D/B/A
MIAMI PARKING AUTHORITY:
Section 1. Alejandra Argudin as MPA Signatory. The Board of
Directors of the Department of Off -Street Parking d/b/a Miami Parking Authority hereby

authorize the change of designated signatory for all MPA related documents as may be
necessary and appropriate for the day-to-day function of the MPA, including financial
authorizations for deposits and withdrawals from bank accounts, from the previous
signatory, Arthur Noriega, V, to the new signatory, Alejandra Argudin.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
