RESOLUTION NO:6-848
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH EVELIO LEY & ASSOCIATES, INC., FOR
THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF SAID FIRM
IN COORDINATING AND PROMOTING LATIN
AMERICAN TRADE EXHIBITION IN MIAMI AND
THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE INTER-AMERICAN PROMOTION CENTER
AS WELL AS THE SAID FIRM'S PROFESSION/14#
SERVICES AND PLANNING, AND EXECUTING Ti
FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN FOR TILE AFORESAID
EXHIBITION AND ALSO FOR TIIE RELOCAtION
IN THE CITY OF MIAMI OF INTERNATIONAL
TRADE GROUPS WITH CITY FUNDS F HE
AFORESAID AGREEMENT LIMITED 500,
AND FURTHER LIMITING TIIE PA NT OF CITY
MONIES TO 10,000 IJNTIL T SUCCESSFUL
COMPLETION OF THE AFOR \ D-RAISING
CAMPAIGN.
BE IT RESOLVY ¶1COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Sect' 1. The itnagr is hereby authorized
to negotiate an xecute agreement with Evelio Ley &
Associnc. rofessional services of said firm
in assisting in following projects:

ectors meeting of the Interamerica&
Promotion Center (CIPE).
Latin American Trade Exhibition in Miami,
if approved on the previous Board of
Directors meeting of CIPE.
C. Working towards the relocation in the City
of Miami of international organisms involved
in foreign trade in Latin America.
D. Planning and executing the campaign for
raising the necessary funds for the above
projects.

Section 2. The funds for the aforesaid agreement
from Community Development Block Grant funds (Economic Develop-
ment) and other budgeted funds, are limited to $57,500 with
only $10,000 of the aforesaid amount hereby authorized, with
the expenditure of the remaining $47,500 conditioned upon
successful completion by said firm of its fund-raising pro-
jects as set forth in Section 1.D hereof.
