A RESOLUTION AUTIHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH METROPOLITAN DADE
COUNTY THROUGH TI-IE MANPOWER PLANNING CONSORTIUM
OF DADE AND MONROE COUNTIES, AMENDING THE
AGREEMENT APPROVED BY CITY OF MIAMI RESOLUTION
NO. 76-482, BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF JOBS TO
726, AND INCREASING THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE
CURRENT CONTRACT TO $31,563.00.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has operated a Summer Teen
Employment Program during the Summer of 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami is eligible to receive
U.S. Department of Labor additional funds to increase the
number of jobs for the 1976 Summer Teen Employment Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to enter into an agreement with the Manpower Planning Consortium
of Dade and Monroe Counties amending the agreement approved by
City of Miami Resolution No. 76-482, by increasing the number of
jobs to 726 and increasing the total amount of the Summer Teen
Employment Program 1976 contract to $31,563.00.

1976.

Proposed Resolution for a
1976 Summer Teen Employment
Contract Amendment. •
Enclosed please find for your consideration a resolution authorizing
an amendment of the 3976 Summer Teen Employment Program contract.
The City of Miami is eligible to receive additional Department of
Labor funds increasing the number of jobs from 701 to 726 the
actual number of youth that participated in STEP ''76.
The amendment provides for an i_nercusc of the original contract
amount from $30,328.46 to $31,563.00.
