RESOLUTION NO. 76-833
A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE
ACTION TAKEN BY THE CITY MANAGER IN THE
SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE
U.S. TRAVEL SERVICE, DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE
FOR A "MIAMI-SHOPPING CENTER OF THE AMERICAS"
PROGAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT THE GRANT AND EXECUTE THE NECESSARY
CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE
PROGRAM UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The action taken by the City Manager in
the submission of a Grant Application to the U.S. Travel Service
Department of Commerce for a "Miami -Shopping Center of the
Americas" Program is hereby ratified and approved.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept the Grant and execute the necessary contracts and agree-
ments to implement the program upon receipt of the Grant.
