Sealed bids for the construction of BISCAYHE WEST HIGHWAY
1MPHOV MSNT H-4 390 will be received by the City coumisaion of The
City of Miami, Florida, not later than 10100 A.M. on the 9th day
of September, 1976, in the City Commission Room, lst Floor, Miami
City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Dinner Key, Miami, Florida
at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
Briefly, this project will eontlet or the construction
of 2.2 miles of streets. The improvements will include new
asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and/or gutters, concrete
sidewalk, a' covered -ditch drainage system and landscaping.

The work will be divided into three parts: Highway,
Drainage ani Landscaping. Bids may be offered on any one part
or any combination of parts.
All bids shall be submitted in accordance with the
Instructions to Bidders and Specifications. Plans and specifi-
cations may be obtained from the Office of the Director,
Department of Public Works, 3332 Pan American Drive, Miami,
Florida. Plans and specifications are to be returned in good
condition and unmarkea within 30 days after bids have been
received.
Proposal includes the time of performance and specifica-
tions contain provisions for liquidated damages tor failure to
complete the work on time.
The City Commission reserves the right to waive any
informality in any bid, and the City Manager may reject any or
all bids, and re -advertise.
