RESOLUTION NO0 76-806
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO
PROVIDE A PROPERLY SIZED CITY FACILITY
AS THE LOCATION WITHIN WHICH TO CONDUCT
A CELEBRATION IN IIONOR OF EMILIO MILIAN
ON OCTOBER 9, 1976, AND WAIVING THE
RENTAL FEE FOR THE USE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, EMILIO MILIAN, a member of this Community,
sacrificed himself for the cause of freedom through his un-
swerving dedication to the ideals cherished by everyone; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami now seeks to honor
EMILIO MILIAN as a gesture of appreciation and respect; and
WHEREAS, the public interest of the City of Miami
will be best served by insuring that a proper location be
provided in which to conduct this joyous celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to provide a properly sized City facility as
the location within which to conduct a celebration
of EMILIO MILIAN on October 9, 1976.
