RESOLUTION NO. 76-799
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF T & N
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,500
FOR THE ALLAPATTAH-COMSTOCK PARK - HARD SURFACE
COURTS - 1976; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $37,500
FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "PUBLIC PARKS &
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND" TO COVER THE
PROPOSED CONTRACT COST: ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $4,125 TO COVER THE COST
OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT
THE AMOUNT OF $750 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH
ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES AND
POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received August 11, 1976
for the construction of ALLAPATTAH-COMSTOCK PARK - HARD SURFACE
COURTS - 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $37,500
bid of T & N Construction Company is the lowest responsible bid
and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the
account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities Bond
Fund" for the proposed amount of the contract, for project
expense, and for such items as advertising, testing laboratories
and postage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE copplitmcoT:.

THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The August 11, 1976 bid of T & N Construc-
tion Company in the amount of $37,500 for the project entitled
ALLAPATTAH-COMSTOCK PARK - HARD SURFACE COURTS - 1976, namely
Base Bid plus Additive Items A & B of Proposal, based on lump
sum bid is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $37,500 is hereby allocated
from the account entitled "Public Parks & Recreational Facilities
Bond Fund" to cover the proposed cost of the contract.
Section 3. The amount of $4,125 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project expense
which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work per-
formed by City forces.
Section 4. The amount of $750 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage.
