A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF EBSARY
FOUNDATION CO. IN THE AMOUNT OF $49,950
FOR THE MORNINGSIDE PARK - BOAT RAMP
EXTENSION - 1976; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT
OF $49,950 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
"PUBLIC PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
BOND FUND" TO COVER THE PROPOSED CONTRACT
COSTS; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE
AMOUNT OF $5,494 TO COVER THE COST OF
PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $999 TO COVER THE
COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING
LABORATORIES AND POSTAGE; ALLOCATING FROM
SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $1,800 FOR 1800
CUBIC YARDS OF MATERIAL DREDGED FROM STATE-
OWNED SUBMERGED LAND; AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
SAID FIRM.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received August 5, 1976
MORNINGSIDE PARK - BOAT RAMP EXTENSION - 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $49,950
Ebsary Foundation Co. is the lowest responsible bid
and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from
the account entitled "Public Parks and Recreational Facilities
Bond Fund" for the proposed amount of the contract, for
project expense, for such items as advertising, testing laboratories
and postare and for 1800 cubic yards of materiA rA-Osiy �,-fr �- “-ti
State-owned submerged land;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The August 5, 1976 bid of Ebsary Founda-
tion Co. in the proposed amount of $49,950 for the project
entitled MORNINGSIDE PARK - BOAT RAMP EXTENSION - 1976, namely
Total Bid of Proposal, based on unit prices is hereby accepted
at the price stated therein.
Section 2. The amount of $49,950 is hereby allocated
from the account entitled "Public Parks and Recreational Facili-
ties Bond Fund" to cover the proposed cost of the contract.

Section 3. The amount of $5,494 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of project expense
which includes engineering, surveys and inspection work per-
formed by City Forces.
Section 4. The amount of $999 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of such items as
advertising, testing laboratories and postage.
Section 5. The amount of $1,800 is hereby allocated
from the aforesaid account for payment to the State of Florida
to cover the cost of 1800 cubic yards of material dredged from
State-owned submerged land.
Section 6. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami witl:.Ebsary

Foundation Co. for the MORNINGSIDE PARK - BOAT RAMP EXTENSION -
1976.
